2000 - Eurasian Technological University is organized on the basis of the oldest educational institution of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Almaty Industrial College (year of education 1948).

In January 2014, the Scientific, Educational and Production Consortium was created. The Consortium included: AksaiGazService JSC, Allur Auto Group of Automobile Companies, AgromashHolding JSC, Eurasian Trading System Commodity Exchange JSC and Avtodom Group of Companies.

The consortium is designed to implement dual educational programs for the training of practical-oriented specialists with the involvement of leading business specialists and foreign academic professors in teaching activities.

In 2014, cooperation agreements were concluded with large production companies such as Allur auto, Commodity Exchange Eurasian Trading System, Aksaygazservice JSC, Agromashholding JSC, Autodom and AllurAuto, etc.

In 2014, the optional principles of the Bologna process were introduced: a system for repaying loans according to the ECTS type and modular educational programs were developed with the involvement of company representatives: Allur auto, Toyota Kazakhstan, Mashsvar LLP.

In May 2015, ETU received institutional accreditation from the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Quality of Education (NCAOKO). In May 2015, 5 undergraduate specialties were accredited.

In 2015, ETU among the best technical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan ranked 15th in the National ranking conducted by the Independent Kazakhstan Agency for Quality Assurance in Education.

In 2016, ETU among the best technical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the National rating of NKAOKO took 13th place.

In 2016, on December 9, ETU organized the "Central Asian AgTech Summit-2016," dedicated to innovations in the agro-industrial industry of Kazakhstan, where at one site they discussed the problems of introducing agro-innovations in the agro-industrial complex of about 1000 participants, including international experts, domestic scientists of agricultural universities, leading Kazakhstani agro-producers and farmers.

In 2016, the Agrotechnological Hub - AGROHUB was opened on the basis of the university for the development of agriculture and research in this area, on the basis of which Startup Academy Catapult successfully operates, which invests in promising startup projects of students and young entrepreneurs.

In 2016, new trajectories of educational programs of the university's specialties were formed, which are aimed at developing agribusiness, agrotechnological and agroengineering areas.In order to enhance the academic mobility of PPP and students and the development of international cooperation, the university created a department of science, which includes international activities.

In order to form professional competence, graduates have introduced modular educational programs into the educational process together with the employers Allur auto, Toyota City, Mashsvar LLP. On the recommendation of Allur auto, an integrated curriculum was developed in conjunction with the Turin Polytechnic University (Italy).
