About the Career Center

 

Career Center is a structural subdivision of Eurasian Technological University and operates in accordance with the charter of the university. The activity of the center is aimed at assisting students in professional practice and the maximum possible employment of graduates of the university.

Objectives

  • expansion of social partnerships, strengthening the university's ties with other organizations, production and science;
  • assisting in the academic and professional (pre-diploma) practice of students of the university institutes and the department;
  • promotion of employment, career development of graduates and students of the university;
  • orientation of the university subdivisions to the employment service of graduates;
  • forecasting the needs of the structure in the labor market in accordance with the results of the conducted expertise in the labor market, determining the equality of demand and supply of specialists in the region and in the fields of higher professional education.

Functions

  • together with institutes and faculties to ensure the planning and organization of all types of internships;
  • together with the departments to conclude contracts with organizations and enterprises for professional practice, employment of graduates;
  • jointly with the departments to develop draft orders for the purpose of allocation of students-practitioners in accordance with the practice bases and sending students for professional practice;
  • organization of professional practice, coordination of activities of all departments relevant to the conduct;
  • drafting orders on salaries of employees of organizations and educational institutions relevant to the conduct of professional practice;
  • Establishment of relations with ministries, departments, state organizations, relevant to the conduct of professional practice, in order to determine the needs of specific industries in the necessary specialists;
  • creation of a database of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and regional education departments of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of requests of departments, specific regions and industries, specific specialties, organizations and enterprises;
  • organization and holding of job fairs;
  • organization of work on placement (individual placement) of graduates;
  • monitoring of the degree of satisfaction of employers and graduates with the level of education.
