On November 4th, 2024, the Academic Council of the Eurasian Technological University took place. During the event, Abdykarimov Askar Dostanovich, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, introduced Aizhan Temerbayeva Maratovna, the new rector, to the staff and conveyed congratulations to the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek.

Aizhan is the youngest rector in the country and a graduate of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Nazarbayev University. Before joining ETU, she served as Acting Chairman of the Board - Rector and Member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University.

Aizhan Maratovna is a member of several organizations and councils, including the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve, the Youth Policy Council, and the Presidium of the Council of Young Scientists. She is also a member of the Kazakhstan Association of Researchers in Education and the Community of Comparative and International Researchers. Aizhan is co-founder of the Alliance of Young Scientists and has been appointed as the new rector of the Eurasian Technological University.

At the end of the meeting of the Academic Council, the new rector Aizhan Maratovna Temerbayeva shared with the staff her vision of the future development of the Eurasian Technological University, paying special attention to creating a favorable climate for students, teachers and employers, strengthening international cooperation, improving academic quality, and further developing the scientific potential of the university
